Where MCJ Releases Go
Men's Central Jail is an LASD county jail within the Los Angeles County Jail System. Reading LASD Release Reports
The LASD Inmate Release Report is not a completed last-24-hour release list. When inspected on July 13, 2026, it was titled Inmate Release Report and included Projected Release Date, Booking No, Last Name, and First Name. Dates extended beyond the current day, so a name on that report should be treated as a projected-release lead. The LASD Pending Releases PDF listed booking number and name for people pending release processing at a snapshot. Pending release is not the same as completed release.

A federal case should be checked through BOP only if the person entered federal custody. An immigration question should be confirmed through official records and ICE channels only when the facts support it.
That boundary prevents a common error: treating the absence of an MCJ listing as proof of freedom.
